Effectiveness of Chosen Leadership Styles on Current Issue

Mediation and Conflict Resolution: 

Sarah’s supervisor can conduct regular meetings which can help Sarah and her co-workers to better understand each other and focus on their work. If everyone can express their concerns and talk freely with each other it can help everyone to resolve their conflicts(Ho et al., 2022). In this way, the supervisor can make sure that everyone is doing their work and that there are no more conflicts among the team members as trust is built among them. 

Communication Enhancement: 

The initiatives that can help to promote communication (BHA FPX 4003 Assessment 2) should be focused on including conducting regular team meetings, interaction with Sarah with her co-workers, and communication protocols implementation. This will help Sarah to focus on her work again and try to forget her issues during the work. For this open communication is necessary and whenever a conflict arises it is important to discuss it so misunderstandings among the team members can be avoided and a healthy work environment is created(Niki et al., 2021). 

Leadership Development and Training: 

It’s important to invest in leadership development and training programs as it can help Sarah’s supervisors handle the team efficiently and solve any conflicts that emerge in the team from time to time(Restivo et al., 2022). If training on conflict management, emotional intelligence, and effective communication is provided it can help to handle the issues and promote positive interactions between Sarah and her co-workers. 

Promotion of Team Cohesion: 

Promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual respect is important for healthcare professionals (Ho et al., 2022). Multiple aspects can help to build a strong relationship among the team members and it includes conducting team-building activities, promoting a sense of shared purpose, and celebrating the achievements. This can help Sarah to improve her relationship with her colleagues. 

Accountability and Performance Management: 

To address the cases of unprofessional behavior and ensure that all team members follow the organizational standards, it’s important to introduce a culture of accountability and performance management (Niinihuhta & Häggman‐Laitila, 2022). If clear expectations are defined, performance goals are elaborated and positive feedback is provided to the team members then individuals can be held accountable for their actions and it also helps to promote a culture of professionalism and accountability(Tedla & Hamid, 2022). 

If these leadership strategies (BHA FPX 4003 Assessment 2) are implemented then Sarah’s challenges can be solved and her supervisor can easily prevent any conflicts, promote harmony within the team, and effective collaboration among the team members is ensured.

 

Conclusion

To conclude, if effective leadership strategies are adopted then I can help to solve Sarah’s challenges and solve any conflicts that arise from time to time within the team, and in this way, the unity among the team can be ensured again. Sarah’s supervisor can create a healthy and supportive environment by implementing conflict-solving techniques, promoting communication, investing in training and leadership development initiatives, promoting team unity, and ensuring accountability based on behavior. In this way, all issues among team members can be addressed and their performance can be increased.
